The original photo before it was manipulated by the Soviets. A German soldier standing beside what appears to be a knocked out Soviet 1910 Maxim Machine Gun with a Sokolov wheeled mount. You’ll notice that the treeline in the background was doctored in the Soviet photo, the same tree appears twice, where as it only appears once in the German photo.
