This particular theater was not meant to be a haunted house, but more so to be a theater that puts on shows featuring mutilation, torture and fake killings with blood spatter that was often quite realistic and exceptionally gruesome. The Grand Guignot was popular theater for Allied soldiers during WWII, however, it’s popularity dwindled in the post-war years.
